ITENARY
Day 1: Lushoto to Lukozi Village

Embark on a captivating 3-day hiking adventure in the Usambara Mountains, commencing from Lushoto Town. Traverse the enchanting Magamba Forest on a journey to Lukozi, meandering through picturesque landscapes and natural forests. Traverse local farms, relishing in beautiful landscapes, viewpoints, and glimpses of mountain peaks. Reach Rangwi village, where you’ll be accommodated at the Sisters’ Convent. This Roman Catholic establishment provides an opportunity to meet with the sisters, learn about their lives, and explore the village. Spend the evening enjoying dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Rangwi to Mtae

Embark on the morning hike through Emau village, ascending Shagayu peak at an elevation of about 2250 meters above sea level. Revel in the panoramic views of the stunning Usambara scenery. Continue through Shagayu pine forest to Goka village, Sunga village, and pause for a hot lunch. After lunch, trek to Mabughai village, visit the pottery women to witness the art of molding pots using clay soil. Descend to Mtae village, savoring the breathtaking views of Pare mountains and Lake Kalimau.
