The challenges that many children who are growing up on the streets alone are that they are not able to have access to basic services. They are often subjected to verbal, physical and sexual abuse. In addition, most children who find themselves abandoned are unable to receive a formal education. As a result, when they mature and they no longer are young children asking for money for survival. they often have to enter into illegal forms of activities in order to survive.
